Outre C. x suecicus, hybride horticole planté en grand et souvent échappé, le groupe comprend de nombreux microtaxons sauvages dans leur région d'origine souvent cités en culture (C. buxifolius, C. cochleatus, C. congestus, C. conspicuus, C. dammeri, C. microphyllus, C. thymifolius), mais ces mentions se rapportent souvent à C. x suecicus, les autres n'étant plantés qu'à petite échelle (Gal)
